When I discovered how exciting this was last Spring, I decided to work on the visualization and analysis skills first. I’m working with R right now. Based on where I think things are currently heading based on my life outside of data, I expect to start learning algorithms in about a year. Faster if I can put more than 4 hours a week into the process.
